Measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape level and snug but not tight. Stand naturally and breathe normally.
Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso. This is usually just above the belly button. Don't hold your breath!
Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks. Stand with your feet together and wrap the tape measure around the widest point.
Skirt length measured from the waist down to the floor.
- Use a soft measuring tape, not a rigid ruler.
- Wear thin, close-fitting clothing or measure over underwear.
- Stand straight with your arms relaxed at your sides.
- Ensure the tape is level all the way around your body.
- Measure twice for accuracy — if between sizes, round up.
